Residential Services

DAC Residential Services | Prairie House
ICF/ID (Intermediate Care Facility for Intellectually Disabled) Services include Prairie House – a 12-bed facility located in Maquoketa, Iowa. Individuals served all have a primary diagnosis of mental retardation, and may require a high level of support. Beyond that, the individuals have a variety of secondary diagnoses including autism, cerebral palsy, communication deficit, behavioral disorders, as well as a wide variety of medical diagnoses.

Vocational Services

DAC Vocational Services
DAC’s Employment & Vocational Services are designed to offer supported employment opportunities to individuals who have the desire to work in an integrated work setting and abilities for employment in this setting. The two main goals of these services are to give the individuals the opportunity to earn competitive wages and allow these wages to be earned in an integrated work setting. Job coaching may be part of this service.

Recycling Center

DAC Recycling Services Helps Makes Happy Families & Cleaner Community
DAC Recycling Center operates its primary location at 1710 East Maple Street in Maquoketa, just off the industrial bypass east of town.

DAC’s Outdoor Recycling Drop-Off at this location is available to residents of Jackson County 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. DAC has several rural drop-off locations.
